Local SEO
Three map results sit above everything else on a local search. Getting into them has almost nothing to do with the SEO that ranks a website, and most agencies sell you the second thing when you needed the first.
- Track record
- Brands large and small, across sixteen years.
Sixteen years of experience
We have delivered search, social and digital marketing for brands including JSW Cement, L&T IDPL, GVK, Maruti Suzuki, Indiabulls Real Estate, Wahl Professional, the Sumer Group and Tirumala — organisations where marketing sits alongside engineering, compliance and dealer networks, and nothing goes live without passing several desks.
The same sixteen years also cover businesses at the other end of the scale, where the owner is the marketing department and every rupee is accounted for. Large accounts teach you process; small ones teach you what actually moves the number. We take both.
- The ranking model
- Three factors, weighted differently to web search.
Local search works differently
Google ranks local results on three things: how close you are to the person searching, how well known your business appears to be, and how well your listing matches what they typed.
You control the second and third. You cannot control the first, which is why "rank number one for plumbers in Thane" is a promise nobody can keep. You rank differently on every street. Ask any agency who offers it to show you the same search from two addresses three kilometres apart.
What this means in practice is that your Google Business Profile often matters more than your website. It is also the thing most businesses fill in once, never touch again, and forget the password to. We have opened profiles where the category was still set to whatever Google guessed at signup five years ago. Fixing that alone can change which searches you show up for, inside a fortnight.
- Is this you?
- If none of these apply, this probably isn’t the service you need.
Who this is for
| Business type | What local SEO does for you |
|---|---|
| Single location retail or service | Gets you into the map pack for the searches happening within your catchment |
| Clinics, dental and healthcare practices | Practitioner-level visibility plus the review volume that patients check before booking |
| Restaurants and hospitality | Profile completeness, photographs and review velocity, which drive the majority of discovery |
| Multi-location chains and franchises | Consistent location pages at scale, and stopping your own branches competing with each other |
| Service-area businesses with no storefront | Service-area configuration, which behaves quite differently from a physical address |
| Professional services | Local prominence plus the trust signals buyers look for before making contact |
Selling nationally with no physical catchment? General SEO will serve you better.

What’s included
Google Business Profile management
Primary and secondary categories, services, products, attributes, hours, holiday hours, photographs, Q&A. The primary category is the single highest-leverage field in the whole profile and it is wrong on a surprising number of listings — a dental clinic filed under "Doctor", a builder filed under "General Contractor" when the searches say "Real Estate Developer".
Map pack optimisation
Working the prominence and relevance factors you can influence, and being honest that proximity is not one of them.
Review strategy
A process your front desk can actually run — when to ask, who asks, what the message says. Steady reviews beat a burst of thirty followed by silence, because recency counts. We also write the replies to bad reviews, which are read by prospects far more often than by the person who complained.
Location pages
Real pages per branch, not one template with the city name swapped. If you have eleven outlets and eleven near-identical pages, Google picks one and suppresses the rest — so your Andheri branch outranks your Thane branch for a Thane search.
Citations and directory consistency
Name, address and phone consistency across the directories that matter in your sector, and cleaning up conflicting historical listings.
Local content and landing pages
Pages built around what people in your area actually search, in the language they search it.
Local link acquisition
Sponsorships, local press and community associations, which are both more attainable and more relevant than national coverage.
Multi-location architecture
Store locator structure, indexation rules and internal linking for businesses with dozens or hundreds of branches.

Questions
How fast does local SEO work?
Faster than the rest of SEO. Category fixes and profile completion can move you inside two to six weeks, because there are fewer factors in play and no content to wait on. Review-driven prominence is the slow part — budget six months for that.
Can you guarantee we rank first in the map pack?
No, and anyone who does is misleading you. Local results vary by the searcher’s physical location, so there is no single ranking position to guarantee. We report visibility across your catchment instead.
We have 40 branches. Does this scale?
Yes, and it becomes an architecture problem rather than a profile problem. The usual issues are duplicate location pages, inconsistent citations and branches cannibalising each other for the same regional queries.
Do we need a website for local SEO?
It helps considerably, but a well-managed Business Profile alone can generate calls. If your budget covers only one, start with the profile.
What about fake reviews from competitors?
We document and report them through Google’s process. Success is inconsistent, so the durable defence is enough genuine reviews that a handful of fakes cannot move your average.
