Two things kept happening at agency after agency. The first was the audit that changed nothing. A company would pay for a long report, read it, and put it down. The findings were usually right. But nobody had asked the obvious questions: can our developers actually build this, what should we do first, and what is it worth to us? The report was the product. Whether anything improved was someone else’s problem.
The second was reporting designed to impress rather than inform. Screenshots of rankings for terms nobody searches. Charts that leave out last year’s numbers because this year looks worse. A monthly call where the agency speaks for forty minutes and nothing gets decided. Clients ended up with plenty of information and no idea what to do next.
CoreWeb does the opposite of both, and the way the firm is built follows from that. Our mission is simple: help brands grow through search they own, with work that gets implemented and reporting anyone can act on. Senior people do the work rather than specify it. We diagnose before we propose. We report against revenue, and we say plainly when something we tried did not work. Small enough to answer the phone, experienced enough to handle a listed corporate.
