Amazon Advertising

On Amazon, advertising and organic ranking feed each other directly. Ad-driven sales improve organic position, which reduces ad dependency. Running ads without fixing the listing is paying to send traffic to a page that will not convert.

PPC & Paid Marketing

Bought demand, coordinated with organic so you stop paying twice.

Sequence
Ads amplify; they do not fix.

Why listing quality comes first

Amazon ranks products substantially on conversion and sales velocity. A listing with weak images, thin bullets and no relevant keywords converts poorly, which means advertising to it burns budget and does little for organic position.

Fix the listing first and the same ad spend produces more sales, which lifts organic rank, which reduces how much you need to spend. That compounding is the whole game on this platform, and it runs in reverse if you advertise a poor listing.

This is why we treat marketplace advertising and listing optimisation as one engagement rather than two services.

All services

What’s included

Listing optimisation

Titles, bullets, backend search terms and A+ content, written for Amazon’s ranking model rather than adapted from your website copy.

Sponsored Products

Manual and automatic campaigns, harvesting search terms from auto campaigns into structured manual ones.

Sponsored Brands and Display

Upper-funnel and retargeting placements, including defensive advertising on your own listings.

Keyword and search term mining

Continuous harvesting and negation, which is where most of the ongoing efficiency comes from.

TACoS management

Total advertising cost of sales, which reveals whether organic is growing, unlike ACoS which does not.

Competitor conquesting

Targeting competitor listings, and defending against those targeting yours.

Review and rating strategy

Within Amazon’s rules, since rating heavily influences both conversion and ad performance.

Inventory awareness

Coordinating spend with stock, because advertising a product about to go out of stock damages ranking twice.

Common questions

Questions

Should we advertise on our own branded listings?

Usually yes, defensively — competitors will target them otherwise. It is one of the few places brand bidding is straightforwardly worth it.

What ACoS should we target?

ACoS alone is misleading. TACoS shows whether your organic position is improving, which is what determines long-term profitability. Optimising ACoS in isolation can mean shrinking the business.

Do you handle Amazon SEO too?

Yes, and we would insist on it. Marketplace ranking and advertising are too interdependent to separate.

Is Amazon worth it if we have our own store?

Frequently, because a large share of product searches begin there. The trade-off is margin and customer data, which you should weigh deliberately rather than by default.

What about other marketplaces?

Flipkart, Myntra and category-specific platforms follow similar principles with different mechanics. We can advise, and we are most experienced on Amazon.
