placements than networks offer

Guest Posting

Two completely different activities share this name. One is contributing to publications with editors and readers. The other is paying networks of empty websites to host articles. We only do the first.

How to tell the difference

A real publication has an audience that arrives without being sent, editors who reject submissions, and a content mix that is not exclusively guest contributions. A link farm has none of these, though it will have a plausible design and a domain authority score someone will quote at you.

The tell is usually the acceptance rate. If a provider guarantees placement, there is no editorial judgement involved, which means the site publishes anything. Sites that publish anything are worth approximately nothing, and occasionally worth less than nothing.

Our placements get rejected sometimes. That is uncomfortable to sell and it is the strongest evidence that the publications are real.

Questions

How many posts per month?

Far fewer than a network will offer — typically two to four, depending on sector. Real publications have limited slots and editorial calendars.

Do you pay for placements?

No. Some legitimate publications charge for sponsored content, which we would flag and mark as sponsored if you chose it, and which behaves differently for link purposes. Standard editorial contributions we do not pay for.

Is guest posting still safe?

Genuine editorial contribution has always been fine. Large-scale guest posting purely for links has been explicitly targeted for years. The distinction is intent and quality, and it is visible in the pattern.

Can you get us into major national publications?

Occasionally, usually via digital PR with original research rather than a guest pitch. Sector publications are considerably more attainable and often more valuable commercially.

What if a placement gets rejected?

We revise and re-pitch, or pitch elsewhere. You are paying for effort and expertise, not guaranteed placement, and we are explicit about that before starting.
